Once again, Greetings from Tomorrow Down Under!
We had yet another wonderful evening on Motukiekie Beach. This time we parked closer to the place we wanted to be on the beach…
On our first hike along the beach we were surprised to have a fisherman pop out of one of the deep and narrow ravines along the way. When I asked him if he was able to get out and up the the road from where he had just come from, he said that he certainly hoped so! He had just come from there! (Clearly he thought I was a bit crazy for even asking.)
Undaunted, and since we had not seen any parking along the narrow road, I asked him about parking? He said he had just pulled to the side of the road and parked. So I asked if that was alright?
He said “If any one gives ya any problem, just tell ‘em to bugger off!”
