Love the look and feel of this painting. It evokes a memory of my first and only visit to New York City one autumn right after the marathon had been run. We had lunch at Cafe des Artistes on a rainy day when the autumn leaves were scattered on the pavement and the lanterns at Tavern on the Green were lit, casting wonderful reflections. Somehow, this captures that composite memory of NYC wonderfully!!
